As the topic of Creation Care reaches a crescendo and Christians embrace their role as stewards of God’s earth, there’s no better time to look at the connection between healing the land and empowering the people who tend it. Scott Sabin, the executive director at Plant With Purpose, will open an authentic conversation on the intersection of poverty, the environment, and spiritual hunger. Scott offers real-life insight and strong scriptural grounding on a variety of topics concerning justice, Creation Care, and sustainable development. His work has been published in outlets including Christianity Today, Huffington Post, UT San Diego, and Relevant Magazine. His book, Tending to Eden: Environmental Stewardship for God’s People, was a finalist for Christianity Today’s Book of the Year Awards.
