Burundi is a small African country between Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda; many are surprised to learn that the country actually shares a similar, painful history to that of Rwanda.

Today, however, we are celebrating a restored sense of hope. Burundians are healing as they rebuild their country and their lives.

We invite you to stop by the Plant With Purpose office to sip on some coffee and enjoy some desserts over uplifting stories of Burundi shared by both Burundi’s country director, Lazare Rukundwa Sebitereko, and the Plant With Purpose executive director Scott Sabin.

All donations from the evening will contribute to the launch of the Muyuvozi Watershed Restoration Project.
