Plant With Purpose would like to welcome our new Grant Writing Intern, Dahlia Guajardo! Dahlia will be working with our Grant Writer, Aly Lewis, to research potential foundations and grant opportunities, write  letters of inquiry for funding, complete grant request applications, and manage the grant funding opportunity database.

Here is a little bit more about Dahlia:

“During my time as an undergraduate history major, I became acquainted with the struggles and injustices that marginalized agricultural workers face in developing nations. I am thrilled to learn from Plant With Purpose’s unique holistic approach to serving the rural poor as I continue my education in the comparative literature of Latin America and the United States.

Prior to starting the graduate program at San Diego State, I taught English in Chile through a non-profit organization based out of Harvard University. In the future I look forward to contributing my writing and research skills to continued work with non-profit organizations that promote international development. I am very grateful for the opportunity to begin my training in this area here at Plant With Purpose.”

Welcome to the team, Dahlia!
